NEVER EVER; talkin' 2 myself CONNECTION
 

So I'm sure this has probably been brought up during the release of talkin' 2 myself, but I was dirving in the car the other day and all of a sudden something clicked. talkin' 2 myself was the PV that NEVER EVER never had :yes! I know NEVER EVER had a cm video, but I was thinking about the cover and I realized NEVER EVER's cover is exactly how she looks in the talkin' 2 myself PV.

i guess that's a connection... judging by the fact that they nearly had the same hairstyle and dirtied their faces~

yea i feel that they just used the same style from NEVER EVER but somehow both songs or singles are really different i think

I remember this. I made a poll about it lol. Which "tough" look, or something like that. It actually amazed me that some people thought Ayu looked tougher in the NE pv over the t2m pv. But there definitely is a similarity. although she's a bit too girly in the NE video.

Yup, even though talkin' 2 myself didn't have a military theme, it was just set in what appears to be a "destroyed world". The songs aren't connected in any way lyrically. The latest South Park episode pretty much explains everything :innocent

They are similar, but there's no connection IMO.

I disagree with many people who say the lyrics are not similar.
The theme of NEVER EVER and Talkin' 2 Myself are the same,
Searching endlessly, being confused, being scared,
Always wishing for something,
But most importantly searching for a true smile.

For example, in NEVER EVER she asks if the listener would smile for her,
In Talkin' 2 Myself, she asks where she can find a real smile.

I think in both songs, hidden amongst angry words or desperate words,
The search for a smile is prevalent.
