I think he just has bad execution of Ayu's ideas.
It's not necessarily his fault, since Ayu can be a confusing person sometimes..
And the only reason his PVs looks so amateurish compared to previous works by Ayu is because there are people like Tetsuo Inoue and Kouki Tange making really "deep-feeling" PVs that cause all of us to "oo and ah" at the visuals..
While Takahide... his stuff feels generic at best.
