i'll give it a try...
butterfly, mantus and snake scene:
no matter how beautiful or powerful u r, something/someone is better thn u. ayu's trying to say that no matter how many powerful things she had done in the past, something would eventually replace her.
people with lantern scene:
those are the ones ayu missed. from the start till the very end, ayu's always alone and its quite obvious to prove that point with ayu's expressions.
when those people are introduced, they seems to be at the same place but cant c ayu. so this created that "so near yet so far" kinda feeling.
ayu dying scene:
ayu, a geisha is always so beautiful for the sake of the audience. so she had enough n gave up(letting down of hair). when she do this, she sacrifices everything she gained (cutting of blossoms).
after she "dies", she finally get to spend time with her loved ones again.
flowers and horse scene:
the flowers are the result of ayu's dead body. this means that when she's gone, it doesnt means there's no beauty left, beauty generates itself.
the horse is wad brings ayu up to this beautiful place. so in the end, when ayu's gone, it waits for its next owner n bring he/she to another beautiful place. this may imply that ayu sets a level in the media. so when she's gone, someone is going to continue the route to another level.
so this pv means a "goodbye" or "let me have some private time first" PERSONALLY
