I don't know whether it's true or not, but I heard from my Singapore friends who eat there regularly that the hawkers like to charge the tourists much more than regular singaporeans would be charge. Well if you're a tourist in a new place, you wouldn't have care much of the price if it was a pretty popular place in Singapore. Furthermore, with Ayumi's wealth, would she even care much about how much it cost?
Yeah, I don't see what the big deal at all is about Ayu spending that much money on dinner for her friends. If it's an expensive place and there are 20+ people, then of course it's going to cost a lot. :
