I am watching their live videos on YouTube right now, and I'm thinking how the pop world has never had sth greater then them. They were poppy but they all could sing, the songs were creative, the shows were AWESOME. I so wish for a comeback =/

THE Spice Girls’ reunion will never happen - because Posh, Scary, Ginger, Sporty and Baby want too much money, an industry insider has revealed.

They are demanding £1million per show, more than any other all-girl band on the planet.

Pop industry sources accuse the five of flexing too much girl power and only being “in it for the money”.

At these rates, promoters say, they would never be able to recoup the cost of staging the shows.

Geri Halliwell (aka Ginger) is the ex-Spice who really, really wants the reunion, following the money*spinning comeback of Take That.

“The difference is that Take That weren’t just in it for the money,” said one industry source who refused to negotiate with the Spice Girls.

“They worked hard, wrote a new album and made their show a great spectacle. No one is convinced that the Spice Girls can still do that.

“The money they want will leave nothing for the promoters. Nobody wants to take them on.”

The source said reports that the band would reunite for a tour this year were false, although they did lead to talks between Victoria Beckham (Posh), 32, Geri Halliwell (Ginger), 34, Melanie Chisholm, (Sporty) 33, Melanie Brown (Scary), 31, and Emma Bunton (Baby), 31.

They agreed to reunite after Mel B and Emma Bunton, both pregnant, have given birth. There is still talk of them taking part in July’s Concert For Diana.

Mel C is the most resistant to a reunion. But her new album is released tomorrow, and she may have a change of heart if it flops.

I'd say she's having that change of heart now. With all the girls, their only real solo success came with their first solo albums, basically everything after that flopped.
