hi i'm new to the forum but been Ayu fan for 7 years and what you might call the older generation of Ayu fan. on the coment by ayu fan929 defending eason chan saying how good he is in hk. i can remember when eason chan enter a tvb music contest(he won because the others were really bad). he debuted back then when the big 4 was still popular with great songs. back then he was a nobody. it was until when jacky cheung and andy lau, leon lai, aaron kwok decide to concentrate on their acting career did these 'b' and 'c' class singer get a chance. Also you talked aboutawards. i always take hong kong awards with a pinch of salt, because in hong kong its all about connections and who you know(its a known fact in hk),it is usually given out by 2 tv companies in hong kong(there are only 2 tv company in hk) and small music industry in hk. you can have realy bad song and can,t sing but depending on who you know and if you do as you are told by the big bosses in the media industry you are guaranteed awards. so eason awards in hk mean nothing to me. the whole industry is so corrupt. also eason got the best male award because there is nobody else to give to(lack of choices) all the rest are too young or new to the music industry. he maybe big in hk but outside hk he is a nobody. Jay chou now he's a proper chinese artist.
