I think 'kanariya' is one of the most underrated Ayu-songs in her discography. It's one of her first 'good quality'-video clips and it's one of the first songs Ayu produced that wasn't a generic pop-song (back then, Ayu was just a regular Jpop-artist rather than the empress). kanariya is totally experimental and would be perfect for a 'jazz-remix'. And on top of that, Ayu sang the song perfectly, even though the song is extremely difficult.
I think the the difficulty of the song is the reason for Ayu not having sung it live. Which is a shame. She should try it once.
At any rate. Kanariya.. An important turningpoint in Ayu's career.
