Wow, Jeanette, that's amazing! Very well written!! ^_^

Well, it's bit awkward and doesn't really flow all that fantastically, but here's what I got. ^_^ I couldn't see using a lot of her titles in the circumstance that I wrote about, but I did my best.

It was ladie's night at the Labyrinth, not my usual night to hit the bar, but part of me really felt like being out. I walked inside and was in awe of the dance floor, the audience, ever free, was far away in a place where day-to-day problems didn't exist, the lights cascading across everyone like a kaleidoscope in some everlasing dream. I walked over to the bar and ordered my usual, casting glances to and from people.

Seeing Alex in the corner, looking bold and delicious, I went to him - the two of us have known each other for years. "Jay! You're here." He said.
"I am..." I replied, not really in the mood for conversation.
"Honey, how have you been? It was such a beautiful day today."
"It was. I've been alright. Decided to get out of the house for a bit, maybe look for that 1 love." I grinned and he nodded. Having no more words to say, as Alex was a man of few words, I said, "See ya around" and then faded back into the crowd.

Finishing my drink I savored these moments, when being young and immature was something you could get away with, stealing time like some criminal. I couldn't help wonder if this was the real me, or if I had some other secret me in my heartplace. Shrugging, I put my hands up, feeling connected to the music, being a catcher in the light.

Loosing myself among the others, I felt hands rest on my hips as someone was startin' to dance with me. It seemed as if we danced until daybreak, the two of us going everywhere, nowhere. Leaning to my ear, this would-be criminal of my heart whispered "We are beautiful fighters, born to be free and easy. I want to be close to you, to stay with you in this neverending dream - this wonderland." His words filled my head, replace(ing) all other thoughts. This was all so surreal. Is this love? No, not yet. It's still only just a game.

Walking proud and independent, with no way to say good bye, I left the Labyrinth and hoped for my happy ending some other time, some other place. Who will love me?
