You mean by ayu's past standarts.
ayu can't keep selling as she used to through all of her career.
Like any other artist. What she can do is to save decently or sometimes get a bit higher than usual, but of course she won't pop up a million (for album) suddenly or 400,000-700,000 like her past singles.
Her standarts are going lower and meanwhile she does pretty good for those own standarts. The situation could be worst, 'cause if she wouldn't keep fans her sales would be exteremly lower and Secret would sell like 200,000 and A BEST 2 albums in the good case 500,000 or 400,000 roundies.
With all the circumstances ayu does pretty well and she is still one of the best selling artist, and of course it's good to see her single sales going up since Bold & Delicious and specially A BEST 2 which is divided to two albums that both sold that well and even more than Secret even if they are compilations I think compilations might getting less popular than what they used to be in Japan though some still succeed with them. ayu succeeds to maintain.
Don't forget that both A BEST 2 are really expensive as well, if they were a lot cheaper it might've got them at least somwhere near (miss)understood.
(gah, sorry for double post I thought I did it on the last one..)
