Kylie celebrates 20 top years

Diminutive diva Kylie Minogue is celebrating 20 years at the top of the pop tree and, to mark the occasion, is hosting a massive pop jamboree in London.

SHE'S sung about it for ages, now pop princess Kylie Minogue is calling everyone around the world to come together and celebrate.

Having just become the first female recipient of the Music Industry Trust's Award, the divine Miss M is believed to be shelling out nearly $1.2 million for a party to acknowledge her claim to the throne as pop queen.

Marking Minogue's extensive commitment to the music industry, the bash is tipped to take place in August to coincide with the 20th anniversary of her first single, Locomotion, going to the top of the Aussie charts.

According to UK reports, the diminutive popette is planning to fly in close friends and family from Down Under and has also invited her grandmother in Melbourne to shake her stuff at the big event.

Guests have apparently been asked to converge at a Soho hotel before being bussed to the secret party location, with the singer recently spotted inspecting trendy venues around London district's Shoreditch and Canary Wharf.

The super-soiree is also believed to double as the pre-launch of Minogue's new album and simultaneously announce her 2008 world tour.

It's also a celebration of her return to the music world after her fight against breast cancer.
In a step back in time, Minogue is believed to have invited her old Neighbours co-star Jason Donovan, but will her French ex love rat Olivier Martinez get a guernsey? He should be so lucky.
