What Wada Akiko really says is rather sympathetic, not disapproving. She actually says she feels a similar willfulness to that of Ayu. These are the pitying, romantic ramblings of an old woman. She is hardly a fascist.

And I agree that probably Wada knows more about what's going on in the show business than any of us.
I don't really like people commenting on everything, but someone will do it anyway. And I prefer that she says it in public rather than behind someones back.
