"forgiveness" sold 70,200 copies in its first day according to Planet Chart. Quite sad really. That's half what "&" sold on its first day and 100,000 copies less than "Voyage" on its first day. Nevertheless she's in first place and more promotion/word of mouth may lift the sales up (though that rarely ever happens for mainstream artists like Ayu).

I don't know what's going on really, Ayu's not getting a lot less popular...she still ranks high in all those popularity polls...maybe in Japan people are getting tired of Ayu as an artist...
Maybe it's time for Ayu to move on from music, although I really wouldn't want that, but at least she'll probably be more successful that way...
