Well, reason would say that this is probably because you are part of the group who use this style of speech and/or spelling. And I, as an educated adult who is an active member of the contemporary American society which sets these standards, have to say that cropping your speech is highly thought of as childish, uneducated, and not to be taken seriously. Again, I bring up the example of “Why can’t the English…?”.

Just as you quoted me: “it received A-side treatment … as it had an instrumental track featured on the single”. Ayu has always had complete disregard for music industry norms when it comes to A-sides and B-sides, so of course none of us can guess whether or not decision will appear on her upcoming album. I am making obvious speculation, and offering that, if Ayu at least follows her own standards (rather than the industry’s), decision is likely to be a pure B-side based solely on the fact that does not appear to be getting the same treatment as Will (as an album-appearing B-side) did previously. It’s only logical.

I just saw that the site has updated since its original post. The initial update said: 3曲収録予定 (“3 tracks planned”) for the CD (which meant that two of which were talkin’ 2 myself and decision, with 1 additional track), and 2曲収録予定 (“2 tracks planned”) for the DVD (which meant both PVs). The new update clarifies, saying ほかリミックス曲含む3曲収録予定 (“An additional 3 tracks planned, including [a remix/remixes]”). This changes the scape of the single greatly. So now we know there will be the two core songs, and 3 additional tracks. I hope the suplementary tracks are two remixes and an instrumental, but we’ll see how it goes…

I’m not creating a panic, but I’m turned off and disappointed. Like I said, Ayu (just as Hikki and Yuna Ito) is in the Japanese market where the overwhelming masses (speaking Japanese) wouldn’t know any different. Guaranteed Ayu herself doesn’t understand the nuance of her titling. I don’t know Yuna Ito well enough to judge, but Utada Hikaru’s sound is significantly more urban and casual than Ayu’s, and Tryin’ fits her style; this type of speech is embraced in urban music and art. When paired with Ayu, however, who has a more traditionally poetic style, it just sounds like she is trying to be overly American without understanding how these things really work. It makes it feel like another silly song she made because it’s her job, when she used to take her music so seriously as expression.

Your post has next to no punctuation or proper capitalization. It is very difficult and frustrating to read.
