When I hit the chorus, I thought, "Oh, snap! This is more of a rock song than I imagined it to be!"
And although it's no big deal, I'm surprised she added the lines "what the hell" in the lyrics. But I like it because it adds to the darkness of the song.
When was the last time we had an actual rock song (as a single) released in the fall? Really, everything else has been a ballad.
I mean, if you really want to include 1 LOVE as a "single," be my guest. I just meant released as an actual single.
