Um.. no. Ayumi wasn't fat at that time. They are amateur photographs and they always tend to take unflattering angels. They didn't delete Kumi's performances they just didn't allow her to perform and I suspect it's more like a tragic story cooked by avex to make us feel sorry for Kumi. At that time Kumi was not very popular and making her perform was not feasible. Ayu is feasible so maybe there was a mixing up on the schedule or something similar. Hope they'll fit in in soon.
