Yeah, I think it's about her dad. I read somewhere (wikipedia?) that Father Christmas on the video had something to do with this dad-thing, but I dunno if that's true. And then there's the part "If I had not met you I wouldn't even have such an embarrassing pain". So that would mean that she has met him, or it's just that she still can remember him when she was very young. But that's just IF the song is about her father.
