Ayu usually ends at night. Maybe it's not that they had something to do. Maybe they just don't want to be stuck in traffic for four hours. And Ayu is not THAT holy so that people have to drop everything else to see her. People are allowed to have other things in their agenda too
HiruNoKaze: Like I said, some people favor practicality most. Let's not forget these people actually live in Japan. For them, seeing Ayu is a much more attainable thing than it is for us. Most of us here would stay PAST Ayu's shows, I'm sure, just because we live elsewhere and seeing her would be much more difficult for us than it is for Japanese citizens. For them, if they happen to have to leave a little bit early they can always see another concert of hers.
Don't forget that she has more than one a-nation performance a summer, as well as regular TV appearances, CDL, AT, etc.
