I like your analysis of the covers.
However, I think that's where the similarity ends. I am... is hardly a positive, upbeat album. On the whole it is one of the most depressing albums she has ever made, containing some of her darkest songs. The whole global peace and love thing did not come into play until after the album was written and they shot the covers with that theme in mind.
