How about my way of interpretation?
The gradual change of colors refer to the different kinds of men ayu has came across with. During the course of ayu's life, ayu's boyfriends (i.e. Ties) have been taken away by other girls (i.e. the colorful girls). This corresponds to the change of colors of the ties. This pattern repeats on & on. Until she met her final guy (i.e. the black tie) she doesn't wanna be left alone by this final guy (black tie), that's why she doesn't seems willing to dance with the colourful ladies in the dancing scene.
The last scene of the PV was showing ayu in a Black Tie, this implies that ayu was hoping to stay the way as it was with this guy (black tie) and wishing not to be dumped or left alone once again.
