Wow... I really don't have a word to describe how these words connect to my life and my feelings. This past year one of my dearest friends, that I am regretful to remember our last meeting together, had passed away because of some stupid joke. We were the best of friends... but were in a fight over no reason when "it" happened. I was devastated and looked at Ayu's songs to help me through since they are so full of emotion and just comfort. I had attended her funeral with Ayu's words from her new years quote "please don’t be afraid of the future. I’m always here… and I’m always with you." The first time I heard it, it brought me to tears and now this song has come out after Ayu's tragedy of losing one of her dearest friends.
Yes, it was her dearest friend. She was two years older than Ayu. Ayu had written at the back of her GUILTY photobook - "This album is dedicated to a dearest person. May she rest in peace... 1976 ~ 2007"
I find it a little strange though because this time she didn't dedicate the back to anyone... like the staff and people who made the album and everything and even her fans like all her other books... I hope she gets over it soon...
