Not really. In my country a natural look is more valued in a celebrity because they appear more "down to earth" and approachable. More fake-looking celebrities tend to be well.. made fun of over here ^^;
However in countries like Japan, people have these idealized image of celebrities and that's why they take it so badly when the celebrity does not appear as perfect as they imagined them to be. Of course many US and European celebrities go under the knife.
Personally I wouldn't change because I like the way I look
but to each their own.
