Well I can see I pretty much stand alone on this...but as much as I LOVE the Japanese music industry...I have to say that I prefer the American way of releasing music. I've noticed that a lot of Japanese singers will release a bunch of singles and then release an album but half the album is stuff we already heard. I mean the whole point of buying an album is to hear new material from an artist...in America singers usually release a single and then their album and progressively release more songs from it to promote more so that more people will buy it overtime. Idk, it just seems more logical to me

And just to let you guys know, it's rare to find an actual American single (a cd with a couple songs on it). The songs they release are called 'singles' but it's not literally a single like the Japanese have with b-sides and stuff.
