I believe it's because of :
-edison's bad attitude and character ( even before the scandal ).
-he's certainly not the role model for people.
-he had ruined the reputation of 12 female stars to date.
-he chose to hide from the media when the scandal first broke out..instead of clarifying with the media like what some of the female victims; gillian did.
-he took advantage of lydia's situation
( he came back to HK during the demise of HK megastar lydia sum..reason? to avoid being the target for media of course )
