As far as i know, a recut would have been to take a song, re record it and sell it. Maybe i'm wrong though

imo it just goes from prologue status to a full song. I don't really consider it a brand new song though. The added lyrics don't really make the song extra different nor do the new parts added to it; they just make the prologue Mirror complete now. Turning it into a brand new song would be doing something like LOVE~Destiny~ to LOVE~refrain~, same composition, but the lyrics are brand new and it has a different arrangement and pace. Mirrorcle World is nothing but an extended version of Mirror, slightly retouched here and there. The concept of the song is still the same.
imo that's almost like saying RAINBOW from A BALLADS is a brand new different song from track 0 from the RAINBOW album, just because the previous was incomplete. It was a sample, but still, the very same RAINBOW (just that back then ayu didn't change titles, because the sample was not on the actual CD but on a website you'd use the pass that came with the album).
That's all speculation though, so I could be totally wrong.
