I like the PV. It's really interesting. It has sexy parts, fierce parts, and funny parts, to me.

And I noticed similar themes from Evangelion, especially the part where she asks if she should leave her body, or stay in it (trapped). Everybody needs to go read Idealists' interpretation of the PV, because as soon as I did, I made wayyy more connections than just that one similar theme of Eva. The PV is really a lot more interesting than it looks at first glance, and gets better with every watch (which is exactly like Neon Genesis Evangelion). You see more when you watch it again. Hear more. Notice more.
It did have quite the few funny parts - I especially laugh when Ayu trots away in her gigantic red dress (after dropping the hankerchief). It's hilarious
But it also had a couple really great parts - I absolutely
LOVE it when she moves her jacket's collar from her face and the sound of a mirror cracking/breaking is heard, and the expression of her face is priceless. You can definitely tell she was in a good mood, having a great time filming in Paris.

And then the rest of the PV picks up and is even more awesome, all the way until the end.
Anyway, if you hate the PV, try reading the interpretation, it might help you to understand it more. Or maybe since I've always just been interesting in the whole singularity theory thing, I'm biased towards this PV.
