Let me just say that I'm not an Ayumi Hamasaki remix junkie. That being said, here's my review.

-GOLD-

STEP you × THE YOUNG PUNX!
Well, I was expecting a lot better from THE YOUNG PUNX! so I'm not particularly amused. I'm not a big fan of the whizzing left and right/up and down sound effects they got going on all throughout the song. Still, I don't think it's a bad remix.
6/10

Moments × dj KENTARO
I really like the chaotic feeling given to this mix. Didn't think it would work with a song like Moments, but it did for me. The verses are especially hot.
8/10

talkin' 2 myself × STONEBRIDGE
Feeling this mix a lot. It's almost as epic as the original mix I think.. Just in club music form. Love the speed of the vocals.
9/10

Beautiful Fighters × MSTRKRFT
Very catchy, I love how they played with the vocals. I love the part towards the end with the synthesizer break, it's sick!
9.5/10

INSPIRE × ARMAND VAN HELDEN
"Kuchi!" I think it's brilliant. Probably something I would do if I were a remixer. I love the way he manipulated the vocals too.
8.5/10

Greatful days × PARA ONE
This is an amazing remix and after hearing it, I'm convinced that PARA ONE are extremely talented individuals. Out of all the remixes on both compilations, I get the feeling the most work was put into this one - and they must have been pretty damn proud of it since they put it on their MySpace so early! I love the breakbeat stuff, I'm just so fascinated by this genre.
10/10

Startin' × SHINICHI OSAWA
Okay, it kinda reminds me of a video game and the first thing that pops into my head is Bowser chasing after Peach. It's alright.
6/10

glitter × SOUL CENTRAL

So this is like the token 'cheesy techno' song of the compilation? I like how they used most of the vocals.
7/10

BLUE BIRD × 7TH GATE
I didn't feel anything from this one to be honest. It felt so empty I don't even think I can give it a rating.
-/10

ourselves × COLDCUT
Pretty hot. Gives me an 80's R&B vibe. The chorus sounds a lot less grating than it does in the original version.
8/10

Ladies Night × AFRA & INCREDIBLE BEATBOX BAND
THIS **** IS HOTT. I love this remix. The beat boxing sounds, the elements of the original song, and the random dude talking were all brilliant.
10/10

HAPPY ENDING × MAD PROFESSOR
I'm probably the black sheep here, but I enjoyed this mix. Although it sounds like aliens got a hold of the original arrangement of HAPPY ENDING, I love how abstract it is. I can definitely imagine myself digging this on the boardwalk at night.
9.5/10

-SILVER-

GAME × YOJI
I liked the effects and the sounds the remixer chose to use, I was just really bored with it. The remixer seemed to have chose such a random part of the song to use as the focal point. I don't know.
5/10

Together When... × CO-FUSION
Perfect. Somebody else said this somewhere I think, but I also feel that it's really close in capturing the same emotion as the original. It climaxes and resolves very well.
10/10

No way to say × HIGH CONTRAST
Drum and bass is yummy, so I love it. And is it me or did they lower the pitch of her voice a little bit?
9/10

alterna × FREEFORM FIVE
Pretty good. one of the more seemingly repetitive mixes of the compilations for me, but okay.
6.5/10

HEAVEN × DAISHI DANCE
Didn't like it. What a pretentious remix! I don't know, in this particular case, I wasn't digging the epic piano and string instrument with the clean-cut disco rhythm. Stick to straight AOV's or something, DAISHI DANCE.
4/10

fated × MAKOTO
Another drum and bass remix = YES. Love the part after the choruses. The whole remix flowed very well. I got a summer night vibe to the remix, just like the original.
9/10

About You × BLACK STROBE
This remix is SICK. Love the industrial-ness of it. Might just be my favorite out of the whole compilation.
10/10

decision × FORCE OF NATURE
If there's any remixer that best took advantage of the vocal track they were given, it'd definitely be FORCE OF NATURE. It flows well, it's dark and techno-y, and they used some of the original strings arrangement, which I thought was really cool. The melody of decision really shines here.
10/10

JEWEL × STEPHANE POMPOUGNAC

Really boring. I don't know. Maybe they should have given JEWEL to DAISHI DANCE instead.
2.5/10

CAROLS × PLAYGROUP
A waste of four minutes of my life.
1/10

part of Me × CARL CRAIG
Well, I like the BGM. I think the mix would be brilliant if the tempo of her voice was sped up.. but.. she sounds like she's in physical pain.
5.5/10

walking proud × CALM
It is CALM. I like it, it did 'walking proud' justice.
7/10

An enjoyable experience I must say, a lot more interesting than the release of MY STORY CLASSICAL.
