We all know she wasn't exactly as perfect as she is today *cough* teeth XD. Her lyrics are watched touched the people through their dark times, which gained her respect throughout Asia. It's only now that she is famous for her beauty because all her old fans have grown and remain very few, her legacy lives on XP but I doubt many people know truly know what the hype was about back then...
luckily I'm a lyrics looking person and luckily I have an old man bro who taught me everything i know about Asian things. So i don't overlook anything and judge them by just looks as many do with Ayu. Though I must admit I was first attracted to ayu cause she looked so かわいい singing boys and girls and evolution. actually maybe more かっこい
