3) She could release it as a limited edition single for the movie; just to squeeze more money.
4) When the DVD of the movie is made, and shipped to USA, it'll most likely contain the original soundtrack of the movie; international move for Ayu.

hm.... nah...
lol
1) ayu is also EXTREMELY popular in Japan, and the market she appeals to is not generally little kids and their mothers.
2) If it's an ayu song, people are going to hear it regardless, they don't need a pokemon movie to hear how "good" it is.
3) Limiteds could be released either way. Doesn't guarantee their sale though.
4) Unnecessary international move. The USA is not a market she is aiming for at all. All that that could possibly get her would be to be known as 'that pokemon girl' along with 'that inuyasha girl'. awesome?

Sorry but ayu is obviously already oodles and oodles more recognized in japan than CK or brightman.
Since ayu singles rarely have theme song tie-in's anymore anyways, what she could actually use is a strong drama tie-in that would help maintain chart longevity, (like the tie-ins that kept Flavor of Life and HEART STATION afloat for so long). A pokemon tie-in would probably not do much in her favor, and it's definitely not her style. It's almost like you don't know ayu at all.

(ie. she could do much better than that).
