the first name means STEP....da weird thing is it doesnt read as 'ayumi'...i think its just a thing 4 chinese ppl....hamasaki is pronounced bing-chi in chinese....which means....uh....something..:-D
actually, ayumi in chinese is "bu", which also means "step", not "bing-chi".
"bing-chi" is Hamasaki, her last name...
Japanese people's name order is the same as Chinese; last name first, follow by first name...
but pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ put their first name first to sound more western...
so it's supposed to be "Hamasaki Ayumi", not "Ayumi Hamasaki"
well...that's all I know about name...
