Korea is quite a conservative country and they never had such a thing like sex symbols. Shes gone a long way, and its been quite a struggle, battling off talks that she is a skank, rumors of her having premarital sex with Rain (which is still sorta a no-no in Korea), and she shows too much skin, etc. Even though in Korea's standards shes old now, shes pretty much registered as a sex symbol there now, almost the first me thinks. I still think shes the hottest Korean celebrity.
Vol 1 Stylish was pretty good. It can't really contend with some of the better k-pop in its days so lots of critics said the album sucked and she cant sing and blah blah, but I thought a lot of the songs were great and catchy.
Vol 2 Dark Angel was kinda wack though, I personally didn't like it. The only awesome song was Shall We Dance? but the others were bad.
Her Anycall PVs are probably some of her best, and gave her a lot of publicity since Anycall is like the uncontested mobile phone company empire in Korea. I thought Anymotion and Anystar were great, Anyclub not as much because the song gets old after 5 minutes or so
