The songs should stay in Japanese and I don't think that they should really be translated into English. For an example, Passion and Sanctuary. Sanctuary feels a bit lacking lyrically so that she holds her notes out for longer than she should. I feel it would be hard to make the same meaning in another language when you have to worry about maintaining lyrics and having enough words to mean what you want to say.

The only one I see as a success is Simple and Clean / Hikari. Those are golden.

Also, Hikki can speak fluent English but for artists like Ayu and Kumi, the English depends cause they aren't fluent. So if they tried, then it might sound a bit jarbled and if it wasn't them singing it, it just wouldn't be the same song...
