For the price you pay, it better withstand a whole hell of alot of stuff and that it dont. I take EXTREMELY good care of my electronics, and i also use my electronics ALOT. Maybe the people who's ipods dont break just dont use it alot. I use mines every day, for hours at work, walking home, riding the bus, at school and on my breaks, then i use it at home on my sound system. So obvioulsy it's just weak.
