I'd just add, that it's kinda different now since it seems like Aneki did a suicide (at least that's what I'd believe from untitled~for her~ lyrics etc). So Ayu might feel seriously guilty over it, or feel like she wasn't a friend good enough or something like that.
But whatever happened, I agree with you, she'll most likely grow as a human and become even stronger through these kinds of stuff, real things of life.
