well, i buy depending on price. most of my album collection is overseas because they're much cheaper! i buy the Japan version of an album if i decide to buy it at the local Japanese market, if i can't wait for the OS version, or if the OS isn't available. all my latest purchases were from the Japanese market, so that's why it's all JP press.
as for the singles, i don't really care if they're OS or JP press.
