Ayu - Depend On You (Svenson & Gielen remix) / I heard this song in mid-2004. I downloaded quite a lot of trance vinyls (just randomly by titles), then put them in winamp playlist and started cleaning my room. When I heard Ayu's angelic song I just stopped moving, stared into the air and my first thought was "this must be an angel, I have been searching for this voice all my life.. OMG, it's actually in Japanese wtf?!). Since then I've been into Jpop. =P

I thought he looks so awkward and he's such an actor, but I thought he must be a really great man, haha. Then I searched for him on youtube I think, and I saw Vanilla and Miserable PVs. I fell in love. <3 Amazing, extraordinary voice, great melodies, great looks.. a very special artist, one of a kind. Gackt is great.
Koda Kumi - real Emotion / Just because I was a huge FF freak. I really liked the song but I didn't realize that she is a proper artist (I was like 14) so I didn't really search for her music, just pictures. I realized that she's actually famous when I joined AHS (and saw her thread here) I think.
miyavi - POP is dead / But I'm not sure.. I remember seeing a video "hot asian guys" and miyavi was there. I thought he's incredibly weird but somehow cool and sweet. I really really loved his voice. Very guy-ish, rockish, yet sweet and pleasant.
hitomi - Japanese girl <333 / I dled an mp3 here on AHS because I liked the title. I thought the song is super retro cool, and her voice very extraordinary.. maybe a bit too much. But I liked it lots. Then I saw the PV and fell in love. She's so H-O-T, the absolutely hottest asian chick ever. Then I dled SAMURAI DRIVE and fell in love even more. She really has amazing music.. the most amazing of all Jpop, I'd say. The best artist ever.
Namie Amuro - GIRL TALK / I think I saw some thread on AHS about Ayu & Namie hating each other.. I didn't know her so I searched for her on youtube and looked at the GIRL TALK PV. I thought she was absolutely HORRIBLE. Dancing only because she has to (for money) - no emotion put in her dance, having a totally bland face, monkey face, just horrible horrible. Lol. But I gave her another chance later and started liking her slowly.
remioromen - Konayuki / Cuz of the famous sad drama.
Didn't like the voice at first, but learned to like it.
