Personally, I'd recommend Atlantis Princess, Best of Seoul, and LISTEN TO MY HEART. I wouldn't recommend listening to THE FACE right away because by the time it came out her music style had changed a bit (and I'm not too fond of it, but that's my opinion >_<). Also, as someone who's first BOA album (and it was either my first or second jpop album that I ever bought) was Valenti, I'm not sure if I would recommend it. Personally, I only thought the title track was outstanding and the rest were just mediocre. It was because of that album that I wasn't sure if I liked her or not. Atlantis Princess is what made me a HUGE fan, though.
