I don't consider her voice strong. A strong voice to me is like ayaka (
) or Christina Aguilera. Ayumi's voice is rather high pitched or low (plus weak when she's performing live), not necessarily strong since she can't hit strong/high notes. She always messes her high note in B&D so I'm rather surprised that your mom loved Ayu after seeing a B&D performance.
