Well, for one you can't just say her single Umbrella was just "okay." That song was covered and remixed up the wah-zuh. No kidding either. I heard that song everywhere and all these other people did remakes and acoustic versions of the song.
She isn't my favorite artist but I think she has really neat style. She got like a dark vinyl goth r&b style. Her fashion is really interesting. We also seem to forget that she isn't from America but Barbados. They do speak an English dialect there but who is to say there aren't cultural differences? But I agree from our stand point she does seem kind of boring in interviews (or at least the one I saw). Live she wasn't so interesting either. I only saw her on the Graham Norton show with her faux diamond mic.
It just sucks they didn't manage her money well. TLC had trouble but with little things and the fact that they spent more on their videos than they should have.
