Go, Namie, go! <3 5th week at #1 is awesome.
I'm very bored right now, so I'm going to write some analyze of Amuro's albums I have here. I love long posts and it feels like ages has gone since I have wrote something like this. Mostly in finnish. I'm gonna try analyzing in english. :3
DANCE/ORIGINAL TRACKS VOL. 1 are mostly just crap. Only songs I fell in love with are europop songs like
TRY ME,
taiyou no SEASON, Heart ni hi wo Tsukete, Memories and
Stop the music. Of course, I also loved
Go! Go! ~Yume no Hayasade~ a lot, but those more popish songs from these albums are just stupid. :'D More popish songs I love are
PARADISE TRAIN and
Aishite Muscat. And
Wagamama wo Yurushite. Mostly those other songs are just boring or the lyrics just piss me off. :3 I'm glad she transferred to avex trax.
SWEET 19 BLUES was awesome. It has many favourite songs to me like
LET'S DO THE MOTION, PRIVATE, Chase the Chance and
Body Feels EXIT. I think two former songs are best songs on this album. With latter songs I prefer more those original mixes on 181920 album. And SWEET 18 BLUES has a bit too many interludes on it imo. But I don't say this album is a bad album. This album was my favourite for a short time too, before I got to listen to more Amuro's music.
Concentration 20 was something that REALLY caught my attention. It had huge rock influenced music. First I thought what this was, but I liked it anyway. My personal favourities from this album are
Close your eyes, Close to you, Whisper, CAN YOU CELEBRATE? and
To-day. I don't think this album has any horrible song, but the reason for this not being my favourite is that some songs didn't impress me at all as I heard them for the first time. Those songs I mentioned before did and that's why I love them. This album really had shivers going down my spine for the first time ever listening to Amuro's music. Reason for that was
Me love peace's rockish end. That freaked me out. Really. ._.
181920 is best compilation album from Amuro ever imo. Songs are my favourities. Some less and some more.
Dreaming I was dreaming was absolute love when I heard it for the first time and those original mixes of
Body Feels EXIT, Chase the Chance, You're my sunshine and
a walk in the park are just wonderful. Much better than the album versions.
GENIUS 2000. My personal favourite album from Namie Amuro. This has no bad, or less favourite song. Every song on this album are my favourities. That's a strange thing because normally I have few less favourite songs on each album I hear. GENIUS 2000 has none of those. But I think some songs like
LOVE 2000 and
Leavin' For Las Vegas and
Something 'Bout The Kiss are just something very... impressive. Especially first one. I love these songs a lot, maybe more than any other song I mentioned before. :3 This album may be a bit too american, but that doesn't bother me because the songs are still masterpieces imo.
break the rules was a bit of a disappointment. I was hoping something what GENIUS 2000 was. But this album didn't have it, so that made me sad. Of course there are wonderful songs like
NEVER END, better days, break the rules and
CROSS OVER on this album, but most of the songs are very boring. Still I like this album more than PLAY or Queen of Hip-Pop ever.
But this album's most boring song is
no more tears. I have listened to it too much I guess, but I just don't find any love for this anymore. :<
LOVE ENCHANTED single collection was cool. Only minus goes for
no more tears. I wish that was replaced with something else, but no can do. Beautiful songs and favourities on this album. And new songs
Say the word, lovin' it and
I WILL are wonderful. I love lovin' it and I WILL a lot. Say the word is more like an okay song. I like new versions of
LOVE 2000, Something 'Bout The Kiss and
I HAVE NEVER SEEN a lot. Beautiful. ^^b
STYLE is awesome. Better than break the rules anyway.
And way better than Queen of Hip-Pop and PLAY anyway. STYLE has few songs that I don't really like almost at all, but this still has more wonderful songs than those worse ones. My favourities on this album are for example
shine more, Put 'Em Up, Namie's Style, SO CRAZY and
Come. Shine more is my first song I heard from this album. :3 I really love this album a lot, even if I don't really like songs
Fish, LOVEBITE and
Don't Lie To Me.
Queen of Hip-Pop is my first Namie album I heard. I didn't like and it gave me a bad image of her. :< I thought that I'm not going get any other albums. I really had to listen to this about 7 times through before I learnt to like it even a little and I still don't love this album. I simply hate that
Ups & Downs duet with Nao'ymt and some other songs too;
My Darling and
I Love You. Then there are songs I like a lot like
GIRL TALK, Queen of Hip-Pop, Free, WoWa and
ALARM. So most of the songs are on my favourite list after all. But as a whole this album isn't Amuro's best. :/
PLAY is better than Queen of Hip-Pop anytime. This album has more favourities than predecessor had. My personal dislike goes to
Hello and
Should I Love Him? while I love
PINK KEY, Baby Don't Cry, Top Secret, HIDE & SEEK and
Violet Saude (Spicy). Strange thing that is. I like other songs I mentioned.
BEST FICTION as a compilation album is okay, but I think 181920 owns it hands down. And this would be better without
NEW LOOK anyway. Argh. But as a whole this is very cool and most of the new songs are my favourities. Some less and some more. My ultimate favourite is
WHAT A FEELING. It's just awesome.
But as a whole I love Namie's music. She has more better music than worse. Which is good.
