My translation of Shiawase no Kane was different. I posted it on here before.
Here it is:
Quote:
The song is pretty but it's just that, pretty. There's nothing that sticks out about it. I'll try my hand at translating it:
The Bells of Happiness
The rain that falls, the land accepts emotions
such as joy, sadness, and others, without coloring
Without coloring...*
The night comes, and in a morning somewhere
life waits in vain inside that named promise
Inside that promise...
I can hear the bells of happiness
There are as many meetings* as there are those
where you don't have to say goodbye
Don't have to say goodbye...
I can hear the bells of happiness
Someone somewhere joins hands
so the bells of happiness can be delivered
For it to be delivered...
I can hear the bells of happiness
I offer my prayers from here
for your smile that I have yet to see
For your smile...
I can hear the bells of happiness
The morning sun will certainly, certainly rise again
So the bells of happiness can be delivered
For it to be delivered...
* iro wo tsukezu ni means without coloring, or without differentiating by color
* deai no kazu means many meetings but usually implies the first meeting
Of course there's probably mistakes but I tried my best. I think this is the gist of what she's saying. Nice lyrics.
