You can get the student meal for 4.90 but the fries are small, not medium. Or you could go on a weekday between 12-2 for the standard 4.90 EVMs. They even have McWings meal
Personally, i'll get a double cheese-burger and a large drink. Then head to Edo (at fairprice) for sushi.
I feel the same in a way. I was really happy to get AT-08 keychain, phonestrap and towel, and then the realization hit me. I just spent over $70 on these 3 items. It does seem a little crazy.
