i have different reasons why they're dominating the charts. not much the music, but promotion, their growing popularity due to TV airtime, & the fact that Arashi has some of the better, active JE actors (MatsuJun, Nino, & Ohno with their acting projects this year, in which they've had singles for). also, they're expanding into Asia. Arashi's been
everywhere this year.
"One Love" wouldn't have been this year's #2 single if it hadn't been re-released with a Hana Yori Dango special copy, IMO.
i'm not saying that their music this year sucks, or anything. it's just not my personal taste. (i love "truth" though, so...) but kudos for them for selling as much as they did this year.

that reason could be used for any Johnny group's sales. and hey, "truth/Kaze no Mukou e" had...3 versions just like "Musekinin Hero". and even more similarly, 2 LE CD+DVDs and 1 NE. i'm not denying the fact that MH sold because of that, BUT i don't see how it wouldn't sell that many units if people weren't interested in the song.
OK, i'm definitely done with this subject.
gonna DL "Beautiful days" now, lol. despite everything, i do want to hear a good CD-rip of "Wasurerarenai".
