excuse me, i don't meant to join in this silly old thread that i see no reason in bumping, BUT i had to say something.

i did read that article back then. but the translation in english made her look bad. her actual words are, '我是独一无二的蔡依林'.

i do not see anything wrong with THAT line, and it should does not sound arrogant.
the actual english translation should be, 'i'm the one and only jolin tsai'

please stop bashing about her image. She is a good dresser and it is not sl *ty looking! Her style back then was like a gyaru, which is NOTHING WRONG!!!!! it's fashion!
