I got the gist of this forum and I second it. I don't like the idea of the movie and I'm not even a big fan of the series. I figure there will be another single or two before her next album, which will give her the opportunity to revamp some more of her older songs + lets not forget about those 4 jacket covers ＿|￣|O
someone said before and I'm not sure whom but I figure any viewer who isn't familiar to J-Pop won't care less about the song or the person who sang it. but I'm sure it'll be a generally positive response from her fan-base and the fans of the movie.
as well all know Ayumi writes her own lyrics so I'm a little disappointed to see that this song is about her impression of the film's protagonist after reading the screenplay. I hope this song won't be released as the A-side to her next single. in fact I hope it won't be on her next album. then again, I'm sure its something we'll all be able to relate to on some degree. alterna anyone?
verdict: I think I'll support Ayumi by buying the single instead of paying $15, waiting 2 hours for the end roll.
