TOKYO — Singer Kumi Koda, 26, on Sunday appeared in a promotional event for her latest album “Trick” at Tokyo’s Venus Fort. Koda sang two songs for 300 fans in a show that incorporated some magic.
An empty cage was brought on stage, then covered. When it was uncovered a few seconds later, Koda was in it. After being let out, she started floating in the air as she sang. After the performance, Koda said, “I like doing surprising things. I think I earned 90 points out of 100 for my performance tonight.”
Speaking of her private life, she said, “I would like to perform an illusion act at my wedding reception because my private life is so entertaining.”
