Sorry to get so technical but this topic interests me. CdJapan is headquartered in Japan right? So giving figures to Oricon would be easier and as keikeiaznqueen suggests, they only accept Japan office figures. I think just about every music store and CdJapan as well sells on a consignment basis, that's why there's a price tagged on virtually every J-press album and they only count end-consumer sales.

Whereas for YA, they have already purchased the stock from a Japanese company so that Japanese source could have reported the copies sold to YA to Oricon or what I've just said is moot and YA just can't be bothered to give figures. I think it's likely that YA has ownership rights to the J-press stuff because they are situated in HK which would make consignment a little complicated and they can jack up the prices as they like. If that's the case, then they really shouldn't be giving figures to Oricon. They ARE the figures to oricon.

And yay, A Complete is still in the 4-digit range. But it's out of top 100
