You said that. You said if Ayu released against Arashi Avex would do a huge promo to save her #1 streak and in reply I said it didn't matter how much promo they would do, Ayu would lose - even if it were the 1st week, she would lose. I was referring to if they had both released on 3/4.
The D/G promotion was not small at all.
And we are referring to singles here, not albums.
However, the reason why the albums sell less is because, generally speaking, the album tracks aren't worth buying. Arashi's album this year however actually wasn't that bad at all. Maybe they are putting more effort into the album tracks these days.
