Whether or not she is impersonating Ayu, I don't think we should say that "she has to own her original style" if she really is impersonating Ayu. To start with, is it wrong to have her going around being "Ayu"? Maybe it's her way of saying she likes Ayu too. Just like how we spend hours & hours chatting about how we love Ayu here in AHS.
I don't find it wrong if she performs like Ayu. It seems she is already known as the Himeka who is a model. I don't think she acts this way just because she rants for popularity or anything related to it.
She is an Ayu fan. And I believe she wants to be one through this way.
