I think this is why we have to take Oricon records with a grain of salt. Not all stores submit their figures there, I think that if we took the "shipped" record (which I think places NL at 450k? - can't remember!
) and subtract about 150k (which are stocks in stores across the country - I'm going by music stores here that have between 30 and 50 copies of Top 50 CDs in the store at any given time - how many CD stores are in japan?!?) we could say that's a "good guess" of how many JPN versions have actually been sold world-wide...
