Following in the footsteps of several American TV series (LOST, 24, Prison Break) shown with great popularity and success in Japan, Orthros's Dog is a suspense drama about the ultimate battle between good versus evil. Ryuzaki Shinji (Takizawa Hideaki) is like the Devil, himself; evil to the core and is willing to do whatever it takes in order to gain power. However, due to faith's unexpected turn, his single touch can heal all sicknesses and wounds. Aoi Ryousuke (Nishikido Ryo) is a teacher at an all-girls private school and is kind and goodhearted like an Angel. He is, however, capable of killing anyone just by touching them. When Ryuzaki learns about the existence of the "Hand of the Devil", he is set to kill Ryousuke in order to obtain his ability and use it to conquer the political and financial world. The question is, was it really a mistake made by Faith that the hands "of God" and of "the Devil" were obtained by these two? Orthros's Dog tries to find the answer to what is the most important thing in a person's life. Is it love? Family? Or the ability to live eagerly without giving up till the end? It is a drama about human dignity, telling a tale about the courage that is needed in order to live and survive. (will add proper synopsis when it appears)
